De economische missie naar Beieren van 12 tot 14 april stond in het teken van ‘de economie van de toekomst’ met bijzondere focus op medische technologie, e-health, smart industry, urbane mobiliteit, agrifood en logistiek. De delegatie smart industry/cybersecurity volgde een vol programma met o.a. bedrijfsbezoeken aan Infineon, Bosch en Schaeffler, presentaties, discussies, showcases en matchmaking gesprekken met Duitse bedrijven.

Snel en veilig internet in een Duitse “Industrial Data Space”
Een vlaggenschip van het Duitse Industrie 4.0 – programma is ongetwijfeld de ontwikkeling van een Duitse Cloud, ofwel de “Industrial Data Space”. Onder de operationele leiding van de Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (FHG) ontwikkelt een consortium van circa 20 grote Duitse bedrijven en vier Ministeries een veilig netwerk voor industriële data en diensten. Doel is niets minder dan “digitale soevereiniteit” voor data en diensten van Duitse origine, waarbij op termijn overigens ruimte voor andere Europese en niet-Europese partners moet ontstaan. Publieke en private partijen in Duitsland achten veilig internet niet alleen realiseerbaar, maar ook als een mogelijke industriële troef in de toekomst. Continue reading
The Showroom Öffentliche Sicherheit at Fraunhofer FOKUS in Berlin Works on Technological and Regulatory Issues in Emergency Response
On the 29th of July 2015, a delegation of The Hague Security Delta (HSD) visited the Showroom Öffentliche Sicherheit at Fraunhofer FOKUS in Berlin. HSD is one of the biggest security clusters in Europe. The delegation consisted of the vice mayor of The Hague and representatives of Innovation Quarter, TNO and KPN.
At Fraunhofer FOKUS, around 500 scientists are working on technological solutions for the Smart City. With its expertise on technologies such as smart communication and system quality, the institute works on applications in public IT, e- government, smart mobility, smart energy and public safety. In the public safety field, Fraunhofer works together with the Freie Universität Berlin and public authorities in the Showroom Öffentliche Sicherheit. There is also a safety – lab, which consists of a test and demonstration environment for networked public safety solutions. Research is very oriented on emergency response and crisis management. Nederland op de Hannover Messe 2015
Van maandag 13 tot en met vrijdag 17 april vindt de Hannover Messe plaats, de grootste industriebeurs ter wereld. Na het succesvolle partnerlandschap vorig jaar hoort Nederland dit jaar met ruim 200 exposanten bij de vijf best vertegenwoordigde landen op de beurs. Onder het motto ‘Global Challenges, Smart Solutions’ brengt Nederland naast de nieuwste technologie het Smart Industry-programma en veelbelovende start-ups onder de aandacht. Tevens zet Nederland zich in voor een intensievere handelsrelatie met Zuid-Duitsland, om ook daar te laten zien dat ‘Smart Solutions’ opvallend vaak ‘Dutch Solutions’ zijn. Continue reading
